The Daisy family consists of six Australian cafes in Central London, offering great lunches, brunches, coffees and drinks. Daisy Green is located off the back of Oxford Street and is a small place that offers one of the best brunches in town. Creatively decorated, the restaurant takes you out of busy London and into a world of its own.

Brunch Time

The menu consist of two sections: Cold and Hot. The cold option includes homemade maple granola, summer porridge and their famous banana bread sandwich. All three looked unbelievable and as a porridge lover, it was hard to resist against the coconut, quinoa, chia and flax seed version. However, it was a weekend after all and my health conscious mind was pushed aside and we ordered their banana bread sandwich. This was a proper dish, banana bread with large scoops of mascarpone on top, with fresh berries, almonds and honey. It was sweet but delicious and a great way to start a Sunday morning!

Hot

The hot menu was a lot more extensive and consisted dishes like coconut bread french toast, eggs, avocado, fritters and salmon royale. What popped out was ‘THE BONDI’, their version of a full English with poached eggs, bacon, sausage, avocado, pesto and organic cold fermented activated charcoal sourdough.  The fancy bacon roll also caught our eye, especially ‘The Ribman’s Holy Fuck Hollandaise’.  We ended up trying their shakshouka: baked eggs, spiced tomato, labne and some of that sourdough. It had a good amount of tomato, perfectly baked eggs and the sourdough was to die for. Great way to finish off a Sunday brunch.

Bottomless Details:
